Deleting a user account

Use this procedure to delete a user's account. The user might receive an error if they are logged on when their account is deleted.

To delete a user account

Use the delete function to remove the account permanently. If you think the user might require access to the account again in the future, select the "Account is disabled" check box in the Properties page of the selected user. For procedural information, see Modifying a user account.

1. Go to the Users management area of the CMC.
2. Select the check box associated with the user you want to delete.
3. Click Delete.

   The delete confirmation dialog box appears.

4. Click OK.

   The user account is deleted.

Note:    If your implementation supports the sign-up feature, users who have had their accounts deleted are able to create a new account for themselves in ePortfolio.
