You have already specified whether you want to connect Crystal Enterprise to a web server installed on the same machine as Crystal Enterprise, or to a web server installed on a separate machine. In either case, the Web Connector must be installed on the same machine as the web server.
If you have run the install.sh script on the same machine as the web server, then you have already installed the Web Connector components. Thus, you need only configure the Web Connector for the web server software that you are running. For details, see Configuring UNIX Web Connectors.
However, if the web server is installed on a separate machine, you must first install the Web Connector on that machine. Proceed now to Installing the Web Connector on a separate machine.
