Avoiding ASP shortcuts

In order for your scripts to work with both Windows and UNIX, you will need to avoid ASP shortcuts that are only supported by the Microsoft scripting engines. Often an additional parameter is required for compatibility.

The table below lists some of the common ASP shortcuts that are only supported by the Microsoft scripting engines:
