The FileEvent object allows you to manage the conditions for a file event to occur. With this object you can set the path and name of the file to watch for as well as the name of the Event server that will be watching for this event. For more information on Events see "File-based events" in the Administration Guide.

Note:    If the file already exists prior to the creation of the event, the event is not triggered. In this case, the event is triggered only when the file is removed and then recreated. If you want an event to be triggered multiple times, you must remove and recreate the file each time.
