Add Method

Adds a principal to the collection.

Syntax

Function Add(
    PrincipalID As Long) As ObjectPricipal

Parameters

PrincipalID

The principal's ID.

Remarks

If you want to give a principal explicit rights to an object, but the ObjectPrincipal does not exist, then you must add a new one to the collection. If inheritance is enabled, then adding a principal to the collection does not necessarily give the principal effective rights to an object. To obtain a user's effective rights, use the CheckRight Method.
