The InfoStore object accesses Crystal Enterprise objects (i.e. InfoObjects) such as Folders, Reports, and Instances. It executes object-related requests to the APS server, using the InfoStore object service exposed by the APS.

The InfoStore service is the gateway to the Crystal Enterprise repository, in which objects (or references to objects) of interest to users are stored. The InfoStore service provides the means to store, remove, schedule and move objects in the repository. The internal knowledge of the objects are hidden from the InfoStore itself by encapsulating Crystal Enterprise plugins at the client and server.
