This method downloads the plugin's setup program from the APS, and then installs the plugin on the local machine.

When you install Crystal Enterprise, not all plugins are installed. Rather, the plugin is only installed when it is needed. For example, it is automatically installed when a call to retrieve it is made through the scripting language.
Use this method to manually install or upgrade plugins on the server machine. It is never necessary to install the plugin on the client machine since the client machine is only provided simple HTML pages by the server. However, if the Web Component Server is not running on the same machine as the APS , then the plugins will have to be downloaded to the WCS .
