SetProfileString Method

Adds a string to the user's profile.

    Value As String)

Parameters

Name

The name of the string.

Value

The value of the string.

Remarks

A profile string makes it possible for you to set information that Crystal Enterprise does not provide and store it in the user object. For example, you may want to create a profile string that stores the user's email address or personalized desktop settings. The string can then be retrieved by using the GetProfileString Method.
