To use the Crystal Enterprise system, you must log on to an Automated Processing Scheduler (APS); otherwise, you won't be able to manipulate system data. The APS is primarily responsible for managing users and scheduling reports. It is the central point from which you access the Crystal Enterprise system.
In this tutorial, users need to enter three items in order to log on to an APS: a user name, a password to verify the user name, and the authentication type (NT or Enterprise).
Note: If you want to ensure that users use a certain authentication type, you can hard code this value.
