Viewing a report instance and its status

A hyperlink to the instance is enabled only if the instance is successful. When the user clicks this link, the ShowReport function is called. The ShowReport function opens a Crystal Report Viewer that displays the report instance in the chosen export type.

The History page also includes a Status link. Clicking this link takes the user to a new view of the History page that displays information such as the instance's status, external destination, creation time, start and end time, server used, and error message (if the instance failed). If the instance is recurring, the page displays the recurrence type and the next run time. If the instance has dependencies, then information about the event an/or specified server group that it is waiting for is shown.

To retrieve this scheduling information, a query is made for the following properties: SI_ID, SI_SCHEDULE_STATUS, SI_RECURRING, SI_STATUSINFO, SI_OWNER, SI_CREATION_TIME, SI_NEXTRUNTIME, SI_STARTTIME, SI_FILES, SI_ENDTIME, SI_SCHEDULEINFO, SI_ALERTS, SI_PROCESSINFO.SI_PRINTER_INFO.
