Personal view

Once users have logged on to the subscription view, they can see the ePortfolio's personal view by clicking the Public link in the header. This link includes pageView=personal as part of the query string:

available.csp?pageView=personal

With the pageView parameter set to 'personal', navigational queries are based on the top-level folder having SI_ID = 0. Although this is the same as 'guest', the objects returned may be different because the user has logged on to a user account, and there are usually more objects available to the user's account than to the guest account.

A personal view can offer users more options and control over reports depending on the rights assigned by the Crystal Enterprise administrator. Logged on (registered) users can create new folders, determine the color scheme of the desktop, or copy reports of interest into their Favorites folder.
