Environment protection

Environment protection refers to the security of the overall environment in which client and server components communicate. Although the Internet and web-based systems are increasingly popular due to their flexibility and range of functionality, they operate in an environment that can be difficult to secure. When you deploy Crystal Enterprise, environment protection is divided into two areas of communication:

• Web browser to web server
• Web server to Crystal Enterprise
