Using the Crystal Enterprise Web Wizard

Overview

Crystal Enterprise includes ePortfolio, which is a client desktop that allows users to access reports; it also includes the Crystal Management Console, which is a component that manages administrative functions. The Crystal Enterprise Web Wizard provides you with an easy way to create your own client and administrative tools. The Web Wizard present you with two options: you can create a new client project or create a new admin project. You can then modify the project files to suit your needs.

To create a new project, you choose from a number of web templates, and the wizard builds a web project based on your selections.

Note:    By default, the Web Wizard component is installed on the same machine as the Web Component Server (WCS). If you install the wizard on a different machine, make sure that you save your CSP files (the new project you create) to the machine on which the WCS is installed.
