Report Viewer Reference

When users access a report, they launch a Crystal Report Viewer that works within their browser. As a developer, you will want to know how to specify, configure, and launch this Report Viewer.

The first part of this section explains how you can use Crystal Web Request (CWR) to load a Report Viewer. It then provides a reference to the Report Viewer parameters that you can append to the request. These parameters allow you to control the way that reports are accessed, generated, and displayed.

The remaining part of this section presents an overview of the five Report Viewers that are supported by Crystal Enterprise. You can let the Web Component Server determine an appropriate Report Viewer for the user's web browser, or you can specify a viewer with the INIT parameter, overriding the browser's default viewer. You can also customize a Report Viewer, enabling or disabling features to suit the needs of your users or to improve system performance.
